Reporters learned from the Publicity Department of the Qingfeng County Party Committee that on December 12, 2025, at the 2025 China Convention and Exhibition Industry Annual Conference and the Hebei Cangzhou High-Quality Development Conference on the Exhibition Economy held in Cangzhou, the 8th China Qingfeng Green Home Furnishing Expo won the 2025 China Convention and Exhibition Innovation Case Award for Innovation in the Integrated Development of Exhibitions and Industry, receiving authoritative recognition from the national exhibition industry and setting a model for county-level integration of exhibitions and industry.

Qingfeng County is known as the Hometown of Chinese Woodworkers. It has a deep foundation in the solid wood furniture industry and has built a complete industrial chain system, becoming a core home furnishing hub in central China and winning multiple national industrial honors. Since its launch in 2018, the Qingfeng Green Home Furnishing Expo has adhered to the model of government platform building with enterprises taking the lead, and has become a high-quality trade platform. At the 8th expo held in May 2025, 228,000 visitors were received over four days, intended transaction volume reached RMB 28.1. billion, and 16 industrial projects were signed with a total investment of RMB 4.3. billion, highlighting remarkable results in the integration of exhibitions and industry.

In the future, the Qingfeng Green Furniture Expo will continue to promote the integration of the home furnishing industry with green intelligent manufacturing, deepen the model of government guidance plus market operation plus industrial linkage, promote efficient integration between county-specific industries and the exhibition economy, and further polish the industrial calling card of the Capital of Chinese Solid Wood Home Furnishings.

It is understood that this conference was jointly hosted by the China Convention and Exhibition Economy Research Association, the Hebei Convention and Exhibition Promotion Center, and the Cangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce. Nearly 500 guest representatives attended, including officials from government industry authorities at various levels, industry organizations, higher education institutions, exhibition organizers, venues, exhibition service enterprises, and news media.
