According to reports from Linyi News, in 2025 Linyi's high-end panel and green smart home furnishing industrial chain emphasized a chain-based way of thinking of supplementing the front end, strengthening the middle, and extending the back end, promoting industrial improvement in both quality and level. From January to November, the high-end panel and green smart home furnishing industrial chain added 52 enterprises above designated size, bringing the total to 1,591 and ranking first among all landmark industrial chains. Output value of enterprises above designated size reached RMB 131.49 billion, and the full-year figure is expected to reach RMB 145 billion. Cumulative tax revenue for the industry reached RMB 2.474 billion, accounting for one-seventh of the city's industrial tax revenue.

While introducing the 2026 development goals, Zhou Maoyong, Party Secretary and Director of the Municipal Forestry Bureau, said that in 2026 the Linyi municipal government's industrial chain task force will adhere to the three targets of benchmarking panels against Huzhou, home furnishing against Guangzhou, and policies against Guigang, and will focus on the four directions of high-end development, intelligent development, green development, and clustered development. It will vigorously implement five major actions: supplementing, extending, and strengthening the industrial chain, gradient cultivation of enterprises, science and technology innovation leadership, brand cultivation and upgrading, and industrial ecosystem building. It will strengthen the internal substance of high-end panels around green formaldehyde-free adhesives, enhance the external appeal of panels around high-performance surface materials such as high-quality solid wood, make the industrial research institute bigger and stronger, take AI-enabled transformation and upgrading as the direction, explore artificial intelligence potential projects in the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, improve development capacity across the whole chain, take sincere service to local advantageous industries as its mission, accelerate the construction of 78 ongoing projects and the launch of 53 planned projects, raise the number of registered statistical enterprises to 1,600, and push the output value of enterprises above designated size in the industrial chain beyond RMB 150 billion. In this way, it will contribute to the city's goal of reaching a trillion-yuan industrial economy.
