On December 22, the 2025 Green Home Furnishing Industry Guangyuan Development Conference, themed Smart Manufacturing for a Better Life and Carbon Benefits the Future, was held. At the conference, Guangyuan signed 40 home furnishing cooperation agreements covering intelligent manufacturing, energy development, solid waste utilization, home furnishing trade, and other areas, with a total contracted value of 11.463 billion yuan.

At the event, plaques were also awarded to qualified suppliers for the Green Building Materials to Rural Areas program, and the launch ceremony of the Guangyuan Green Smart Home Furnishing Collaborative Innovation Center was held.

It is understood that the Guangyuan Green Smart Home Furnishing Collaborative Innovation Center will focus its work on six major directions. Its goal is to build an open, collaborative, and efficient industrial innovation platform. By integrating resources from all sides and concentrating on key fields such as green home furnishing materials and intelligent manufacturing, it aims to comprehensively raise the green, intelligent, digital, and high-end development level of Guangyuan's home furnishing industry.

After the center is completed, related enterprises will be able to quickly connect with orders, share production capacity, obtain financing, realize the rapid transformation of good ideas, promote good products on a broad scale, and respond accurately to new demand. Together with standard outputs such as the Guangyuan Panel Index and green carbon labels, it will help products made in Guangyuan reach the whole country and the global market.

Guo Pande, general manager of Luli Group Co., Ltd. and a representative of a participating enterprise, said that choosing Guangyuan was due to its excellent business environment, while taking root there reflected the company's confidence in its broad development prospects. Guangyuan has a well-developed transportation network and a wide market reach, and its abundant forestry resources and green energy advantages provide sufficient raw-material security and green power for the home furnishing industry. In 2024, the company invested 6.4. billion yuan to establish Sichuan Luli Wood Industry Co., Ltd. and build a green and digital-intelligent home furnishing industrial park covering more than 1,600 mu, with seven core production lines and supporting living facilities.

As the only base city in Sichuan Province designated for the development of the green home furnishing specialty industry, Guangyuan has in recent years targeted the creation of a 50-billion-yuan green home furnishing industrial cluster. It has worked to build an industrial system centered on the concept of home, accelerated the construction of a famous green home furnishing industrial city in western China, and fully advanced green home furnishing as a leading industry. It has now gathered 93 industrial enterprises above designated size, 5. specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, and 13 innovative enterprises. In 2024, industrial-scale home furnishing enterprises achieved an output value of 5.29 billion yuan, up 10.6% year on year, and are expected to surpass 6. billion yuan in 2025.

A relevant official of Guangyuan said that next, the city will focus on building the Sichuan-Shaanxi-Gansu International Timber Trade Center, the Green Smart Home Furnishing Collaborative Innovation Center, and the Western Green Home Furnishing Manufacturing Center, striving to build a famous green home furnishing industrial city in western China that serves Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, and Chongqing while radiating nationwide and even globally.
